Nestled in our small family campsite in Chiny, this wooden cabin is a harmonious eco-construction, designed for an unforgettable romantic getaway in the heart of the Ardennes countryside.

  • 🔌 Electricity: Power outlets (6A) and interior lighting included.

  • 🔥 Heating: A small auxiliary heater is available in the accommodation.

  • 🌿Back to basics: To preserve the authenticity and ecological aspect of the accommodation, the hut does not have private sanitary facilities.

  • 🚿Convenient: The central sanitary block, modern and well-maintained, is located just 50 meters away (Shower: €1/6 min).

Opening hours and reception conditions

  • 🕒 Arrivals: between 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm (mandatory)

Please inform us in advance of your arrival time so that we can best welcome you.

  • 🕚 Departures: between 9:30 and 11:00

  • 💶 A €100 cash deposit is ONLY required upon arrival and will be returned at the end of your stay after the accommodation has been checked.

  • 🧹 Final cleaning is not included in the price. You can do it yourself or choose the cleaning package for €30 (excluding kitchen area and dishes).

  • 🚭 Non-smoking accommodation.

  • 🐶 Animals are not allowed in the hut.

  • 🚗 Private parking is included for your vehicle.

  • 🛏️ Sheets are not provided but are mandatory, please remember to bring them (for your information: double bed 180*200 and 1 duvet 240*220)

What is a Trapper's Hut or a Pod?

The Pod is an unusual wooden accommodation inspired by shepherd's huts. Our Trapper's Hut is an 8 m² eco-construction offering superior comfort compared to a traditional tent. It's the ideal choice for an authentic glamping stay in the heart of the Semois Valley National Park.

Is the hut heated for a stay in the Ardennes?

Yes! To ensure your optimal comfort during the cool nights in the Ardennes, we provide a small electric space heater. It's the perfect cozy spot to enjoy nature from April 1st to September 30th, even if the evenings are chilly.

Where are the toilets located in relation to the hut?

In keeping with our back-to-basics and eco-friendly approach, our hut does not have private bathroom facilities. You will find the campsite's main toilet and shower block just 30 meters from your accommodation. Showers are available for €1 for 6 minutes.

Is the hut located on the banks of the Semois?

Our Trapper's Hut enjoys a privileged location on the banks of the Foulerie stream, which meanders through the campsite to join the nearby Semois river.
